About Wild Root Studio
Wild Root Studio is a small handmade paper and bookbinding studio based in Gqeberha, South Africa. Products are individually made by hand and may naturally vary in colour, texture, paper grain, stitching and finish.
Products
Product photographs and descriptions are intended to give an accurate representation of each item. Because many Wild Root Studio pieces are handmade and one-of-a-kind, minor variations and handmade characteristics are part of the product and are not considered defects.
Prices
All prices are shown in South African Rand (ZAR) and are the prices payable at the time of purchase. Wild Root Studio reserves the right to change prices or product availability without notice.
Orders and payment
We confirm an order once we have successfully received payment through the available payment method. Wild Root Studio may contact a customer if an order cannot be fulfilled as described.
Availability
Many products are produced as limited or one-of-a-kind pieces. A product shown as sold is no longer available for purchase.
Delivery
Delivery is currently offered within South Africa only. Shipping charges and estimated delivery times are shown during checkout or otherwise communicated before payment.
Custom and personalised work
If a customer requests a customised or personalised item, we will confirm the agreed specifications and price before production begins. Custom work may be subject to different cancellation or return conditions where permitted by law.
Intellectual property
All original photographs, artwork, product designs, written content and branding on the Wild Root Studio website are the property of Wild Root Studio or are used with permission and may not be reproduced without written permission.
Privacy
Customer personal information is used to process orders, communicate about purchases, arrange delivery and provide customer support. Payment information is processed by the selected payment provider and is not stored by Wild Root Studio beyond what is reasonably required for transaction records and support.
Changes to these terms
Wild Root Studio may update these terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time of an order will apply to that transaction.

Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items
Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.
Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at hello@wildrootstudio.co.za and send your item to: 6B Thistle Street, Salisbury Park, Gqeberha, 6070.
Shipping returns
To return your product, you should mail your product to: 6B Thistle Street, Salisbury Park, Gqeberha, 6070.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
